Open Arms is a non-profit ministry of Zion Lutheran Church, providing a Christian childcare and education that is of the highest quality. 

While Zion shares facilities with Open Arms, we are on a separate phone system and have a different mailing address. Please see their information below:

~ OPEN ARMS NEWS ~

 Open Arms is open at this time and is looking for teachers, teacher assistants, a part-time Bus driver and a kitchen cook/manager. If you are interested  You can contact us via email at epeterson@openarmsfairbanks.org or by calling Elia Peterson at (907) 455-9466.

SPONSOR A ROOM:  

We are looking for individuals or businesses to sponsor each classroom with Half Donations ($500) or Full Donations ($1000).  It provided the much needed consumable arts and craft materials for all of the children. It has also purchased outdoor play structures for the children.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION:  

OA now accepts Box Tops for Education. If you collect you can drop off at Open Arms or at the church office and we will take care of them. To find out how to participate visit their website.
